Aussie artists have made a huge impact at this year's Unsigned Only competition.

A total of 21 places in the annual competition - which was judged by The Cure's Robert Smith, Charli XCX and more - have gone to Australian artists.

San Mei has taken out first place in the Adult Album Alternative category with Hard To Face, while Du0 has taken out the top spot in the EDM category with Way Back Down.

Sahara Beck, Trent-Jean, Kate Lush and MAXO have all taken out second place in various categories, while LOVER, High Tropics, Abi Muir and more are among the honourable mentions. See the full list below.

"The best part of listening to all the entries in the competition is discovering great talent, and Australian artists consistently deliver,” said Unsigned Only founders Candace Avery and Jim Morgan.

"The cream always rises to the top, and Aussie artists are the cream."

This year's overall Grand Prize winner was Haitian artist BélO.
