Support Act has today announced it will present a special music industry panel this week to coincide with R U OK? Day. 

Taking place on Thursday (10 September), The Teskey Brothers' Brendon Love and Fanny Lusmden will join the How to Give and Get Support, panel hosted by triple j's Max Quinn, to discuss "discuss how to give and get support when experiencing poor mental health".

The focus of the panel discussion will be:

  • Help seeking
  • Having tough conversations (RUOK?)
  • Experiences with giving and getting support

The How to Give and Get Support panel comes in support of Support Act's free online workshop series, On My Mind, which "explores the ins and outs of mental health and wellbeing for musicians, crew and other workers in the Australian music industry".
