Music SA has announced a number of new staff and board appointments.
Following the departure of beloved Adelaide music personality Lisa Bishop as CEO earlier this year and news that IT professional and vocational trainer Kim Roberts would take on the position of General Manager, the organisation has welcomed Deb Edwards and Letisha Ackland to the team.
Edwards signs on as a board director, while Ackland takes on the role of Industry Development Co-ordinator with a First Nations focus.
“I am honoured to be appointed to the Music SA board and to bring my many years of experience and passion for the Australian music industry to the table,” Edwards said.
“I am also excited to contribute as a voice for First Nations industry professionals and thank the Music SA board for this opportunity.”

Ackland added: “I am thrilled to join the Music SA team in supporting First Nations artists to connect community and culture in our local music industry.
“I am looking forward to working with the incredible Indigenous talent we have across South Australia through programs, placements and opportunities, and elevating our First Nations artists' voices and music.”
The Music SA Board also recently appointed Chartered Accountant Tim Haslam as Treasurer, and lawyer Angus Crawford as Secretary.
