Some of Australia's favourite music talent will perform in homes of their fans as the country looks to reintroduce live shows.

Busby Marou, Ali Barter and Pierce Brothers are the first to book gigs through Parlour; an online platform launched in 2015 that allows artists to tour in homes, earn money and reconnect with their fans.

“I'm really excited to be using the Parlour platform in a time where regular gigs are off the cards," Barter said.

"The opportunity to play smaller shows at people's homes is such a great way to adapt to the times."

Other Australian names who can currently be booked through Parlour include Steve Kilbey, Andrew Stockdale, Hayley Mary, Didirri, Dallas Frasca and Gabriella Cohen.

A stack of big-name local talent have performed Parlour shows over the years too, including The Living End's Chris Cheney, Sarah McLeod, Sarah Blasko and Ben Lee.
