QMusic has today announced a brand new grant program with the Queensland Government, stART.
The program by the Queensland Government is set to deliver $500,000 in grants, with QMusic being the delivery partner for music applications across Queensland. These will support artists, producers, designers, arts workers and more that have been impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic.
Successful applicants can access $3,000 "to support creative development and business activities focussed on future opportunities during the COVID recovery phase".
"We thank the Queensland Government for their support and investing in the music community with the stART grant program," said QMusic CEO Angela Samut of the program.
"This money will support creative practice and business coming out of the devastation of the COVID19 crisis."
Applications for the program open from 10am on Monday 15 June and will close at 11.59pm on Monday 22 June.
