Following his collaboration with Tim Minchin last month, Briggs has now dropped the first single from his forthcoming EP and first solo body of work since 2014's Sheplife.
The Shepparton rapper says the new track, Extra Extra (produced by friend and AB Original member Trials) is "how I live".
"No days off. Everything I do is Extra - you can check my resume for that," Briggs said.
"A lot of people know me for a lot of different things - but this is back to the fundamentals of who I am as Briggs.”

The new track comes after Briggs released children’s book, Our Home, Our Heartbeat this month, an adaptation from the song, The Children Came Back.
The book is a celebration of past and present Indigenous legends, as well as emerging generations, and at its heart honours the oldest continuous culture on earth.
