
Now just a little over 48 hours before the Hottest 100 Of The Decade kicks off, triple j has revealed what the most popular year for the countdown has been.
2012 - the year saw Macklemore and Ryan Lewis' Thrift Shop take out the #1 spot - has proved to be the most popular with 1.8 plus million voters, which means songs from that year will appear on this Saturday's countdown.

If you needed a reminder, here's what the top ten of the Hottest 2012 looked like...

Triple J has also confirmed today that 49 songs in this weekend's countdown come from Australian acts, while a massive 79.1% of voters came from people aged 30 and under.
