Garnering rave reviews for her incredibly poignant lyricism and jarring vulnerability, Elizabeth Mitchell is quickly gaining traction as one of the must-see performers on the Melbourne scene. Along with the launch of the album, Mitchell has recruited a slew of incredible support acts to fill out the night. The Merindas
Electro-pop duo The Merindas are making waves around the country at the moment, astounding audiences as they celebrate the release of their debut album. The We Sing Until Sunrise tour will make a quick stop at BMF next week, with vocalists Kristel Kickett and Candice Lorrae set to showcase their incredible harmonies and dynamic stage presence. Melbourne indie-rock quartet Key Hoo will also be along for the ride, bringing their unique alt style to the stage and playing tunes from their 2020 self-titled EP. Live At The Library
In one of the more ironic shows at BMF, loud punk four-piece Pinch Points are taking over the Brunswick Library to break the silence as only they can. After flooring the crowd as the opening band at Golden Plains 2020, the quartet will shake the stacks with their one-of-a-kind blend of biting and tongue-in-cheek tunes. The show is a free gig as the band double-headlines alongside shimmering dream-pop outfit Tender Buttons. Bad Apples Presents: Music For The Mob
Curated by the iconic Bad Apples Music, the final day of BMF will feature a massive showcase of some the most incredible First Nations talent around. With Dameeeela spinning tunes between sets, the line-up features loop artist Allara, avant composer Diimpa, hip hop artist Philly and singer-songwriter Kee’ahn, with rap prodigy Ziggy Ramo closing out the show.
