
Triple J's Hottest 100 has had another huge year, with a massive amount of people tuning in to the annual countdown.
According to figures released by the youth broadcaster today, more than 3.25 million people tuned into the Saturday 25 January countdown.
The survey has also found that 29% of Australians aged 18-34 listened to the Hottest 100 and that 78% of people who listened tuned in with friends.
Impressively, the survey reports that 38% of Australians aged 16 and over either listened, voted in or check the countdown results via social media, news coverage or the triple j website, to the estimated total of 6.67 million people.
It's also been reported that 333,790 digital streams happened via triple j app, website, smart speakers and other platforms as the winner was announced.
