Favourite movies hold a special place in our hearts but for one Queensland woman, the love of her favourite film has also made her a world record holder.
According to ABC, Brisbane's Joanne Connor has now set the Guinness World Record for most times viewing the Queen biopic, Bohemian Rhapsody.
The film, which was released in November 2018, focuses on the life of legendary frontman Freddie Mercury and Queen, with actor Rami Malek taking on the role of Mercury.
Connor has now shared that to score herself the record she watched the film a whopping 108 times at the cinema.
That wasn't the end though, with Connor continuing to watch at home each night - to the sum of 291 times since she got the DVD in February last year.
Connor has revealed that she actually wasn't a Queen mega-fan before the film.
"I used to like their music — if it was on the radio I'd turn it up, but I went one afternoon with one of my friends just to watch it, fell in love with it, couldn't stop going and I'm just smitten by them now," she told ABC.
Obviously the record has garnered attention for Connor, who was invited backstage to meet Queen's Brian May and Roger Taylor during their recent Brisbane show.
"I had a warning from my daughter, she said to me, 'this is a once in a lifetime moment, don't spoil it'. So she said, 'do not cry, go in there talk to them and cry afterwards'.
"But when I went in and I saw them they were just such wonderful people I spoke to them as if I'd known them my whole life. When I walked out I must admit I did cry."
