1. What’s your favorite food from Texas?

Bridges: Tex Mexican food hands down. It’s God's gift to humanity.

2. Boots or sneakers?

Bridges: Boots all day. Lucchese and Boot Star are my favorite brands. I love Texas Traditional Western fashion so I try to incorporate that into my own style. No diss to sneakers but I mostly wear sneakers when I work out. They just don’t fit with my daily aesthetic.

3. What’s your favorite Bobby Womack song?

Bridges: Woman’s Gotta Have It is his best song in my opinion. That bass line is so funky you can smell it through your headphones.

4. What’s your favourite memory of Australia?

Bridges: The time I played the Splendour In The Grass festival. Before that moment I’d never seen a demographic under 30 years old as ecstatic as the crowd was there. They gave me so much energy and love.

5. Where do you keep your Grammy?

Bridges: I keep it in the room that’s specifically for vibing out to records. So surreal that I’m a Grammy winner now.

1. What’s your dream place you would like to perform?

Lee: Red Rocks was always at the top of my list. I love amphitheatres. They create an intimate feeling regardless of how many people there are. And it feels old school. Pretty surreal to have played it twice already. But the real dream is to headline it ourselves. So, fingers and toes crossed.

2. Dogs or cats?

Lee: Tough one. Depends on the animal, really. But I’d have to say dogs. Nothing like a good old run or walk in the park with a pup.

3. What artists inspire you?

Lee: I’d say Solange has been one of my biggest inspirations over the past few years. She really transformed into an incredible artist across multiple platforms - combining music, choreography, architecture, film and fashion into one beautiful cohesive being that is filled with meaning, intention and message.

4. What’s your favorite song on 'Texas Sun'?

Lee: My favorite song on Texas Sun is probably Conversion. It a beautiful and epic ender to the mini-album. Everyone on that song grew up on gospel music, and it’s a genre that I find intimidating because of it’s complexity musically and also because of its sacred nature. I don’t think I ever thought I’d be on a gospel track, so I feel particularly humbled and honored to have played on that song.

5. How do you decompress after a show?

Lee: It varies. If it’s a festival, I usually give myself 10 minutes and then go out and watch other artists before. If we have a DJ set afterwards, that acts as the decompression. And if we’re in a venue tour, I try to steal the shower before anyone else gets there.
