Having just performed at festivals around the country including Field Day, Origin Fields and Wildlands, renowned UK DJ Chris Lake has inked a deal with local label, etcetc.
The Norwich-born producer joins the indie label which already boasts the likes of PNAU, Duke Dumont and FISHER.
The signing comes after news that Lake's latest single with fellow UK act and duo Solardo, Free Your Body, charted at #1 on triple j's Most Played list at the beginning of 2020.
“I’ve been following Solardo now for a few years, and loved their productions and style of DJing," Lake said.
"We’d talked about doing something together. And finally, they came to LA, so I invited them to try my local Thai restaurant’s unbelievable food. The fools chose hot spice on all the dishes and instantly regretted it.
"I watched them cry and sweat for an hour, whilst I pissed myself laughing at them, then we went to the studio and made a beat… this is the beat."
