Following runs in Las Vegas and London, Channing Tatum's Magic Mike Live show is confirmed to be coming to Australia in 2020.
The stage production, based on hit films Magic Mike and Magic Mike XXL, will commence its local run at Melbourne venue Birrarung Marr from 26 May, before moving on to Sydney (from 19 November), Brisbane and Perth.
“The movies did so amazingly here, we knew we had to figure out how to raise our game to do something this audience would love,” Tatum, who created and directed the Magic Mike Live show said at Melbourne's Plaza Ballroom today.
“It took a few years for it to all come together but... man… did it come together.
"We have something planned for Australia that is going to blow your minds.”
While the Australian run will feature a whole new production, Magic Mike Live has been a fixture on TV shows around the globe, including Ellen, The Today Show, Graham Norton and The Late Show with James Corden.
Tickets for the Melbourne and Sydney runs are on sale now, while the waitlist for Perth and Brisbane are also open.
