UK songwriter Laura Marling has announced she will return to Australia in 2020 for three intimate solo shows.

The Berkshire-born artist will head Down Under next March to perform in Sydney, Brisbane and Melbourne, in what will be her first trip to Australia since the 2018 release of LUMP; a collaboration with Mike Lindsey of Tunng.

A statement issued today reads, "As she takes to the stage alone, these rare dates will also give audiences the chance to hear selections from Marling’s enviable back catalogue which includes the debut record Alas, I Cannot Swim, the tenacious landmark Once I Was An Eagle and the wiry atmospheres of 2015’s brilliant Short Movie".

Tickets for all three shows go on sale from 9am this Friday (22 November).
