The MiniFootball World Cup has officially kicked off at the picturesque city front location, Langley Park, with matches running for the next eleven days from 1-11 October.

Ticket holders will be able to watch as more than 800 players from 32 countries battle it out to win the prestigious trophy and be crowned the MiniFootball World Cup Champions of 2019.

All 32 Teams have now arrived in Perth with the field boasting an impressive line-up of ex-professionals including Jermaine Jones (USA), Mykola Ischenko (Ukraine), Gabriel Gubela (Brazil) and Marcos Gonzalez (Chile), as well as A-Leauge legends Marc Warren (Sydney FC & Perth Glory FC), Pedj Bojic (Central Coast Mariners FC & Sydney FC) and Chris Payne (Sydney FC).

As the group stages get underway, eight groups of four teams will play each other to decide which top two countries from each group proceed to the knockout stage. In the event of a tie after the three group games, the top two teams will proceed based on goal difference.

This world-class event sees Perth as its host for its third year, after defeating Kazakhstan in the majority vote with the previous two events being played in the United States and Tunisia respectively.
