Bad Weather Sees Polaris Miss Sydney Show Supporting Architects

Sydney metalcore band Polaris have issued a statement on social media following their missed set in Sydney last night. 

Currently supporting Architects on their headline tour across the country, "highly dangerous winds" in Sydney meant the band's flight from Brisbane was delayed long enough for Polaris to miss their set. 

"Due to highly dangerous winds in Sydney, our flight (along with dozens of others) from Brisbane was pushed back further and further as the day went on, and after waiting in the airport for 8 hours we have finally had to accept the unfortunate reality that we would not be arriving in time to play our scheduled set," the band wrote on Facebook. 

"We just want you guys to know that we are as devastated as you are. We love playing at home more than anything and tonight was going to be very special for us. This is the first time in our 7 years as a band that we have had to miss a show, and we have explored every possible option to avoid this situation but ultimately this was completely out of our control."
