With US singer-songwriter Billie Eilish touching down in Australia this week for Groovin The Moo and a run of headline dates, fans are being warned against fraudulent tickets.
With her Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane and Perth shows completely sold out, promoter Chugg Entertainment has said that tickets purchased outside of their official partners may be fraudulent or invalid.
“Invalid tickets will not allow entry to the concert and cannot be replaced or exchanged for valid tickets,” their statement reads.
“As this can often not be determined until the patron is entering the venue we strongly advise parents who have purchased tickets from unauthorised outlets to wait until their children have successfully entered the venue before departing the area.
“If you have purchased tickets via the official ticketing agency you of course have no cause for concern. Official ticket partners for Billie Eilish are listed below.”
Last week, controversial ticket resale platform Viagogo was found guilty of misleading consumers by the Australian Federal Court.
