Major Australian Artists Announced As Record Store Day Ambassadors

Record Store Day 2019 is almost here and excitement is high with the announcement of this year's official ambassadors.

Taking the reins for the 12th year of the event will be treasured Aussie musos and vinyl lovers, Kate Ceberano, Dave Faulkner from the Hoodoo Gurus and Hockey Dad. 

The annual event celebrates the community of the record store, where indie record stores throw open their doors to entice the community in with treasure hunts, in-store appearance, parties, vinyl crate digging and much more.

As has become tradition in the last decade, multiple record companies are planning a series of limited edition vinyl releases to celebrate the day .

Record Store Day will take place worldwide on Saturday 13 April.
