Smashing news from camp Amy Shark tonight, with the Queensland singer-songwriter revealing she’s been recording with US legend Billy Corgan.
Shark shared an image in the studio with Corgan, stating, “I’ve been obsessed with Smashing Pumpkins my whole life.”
It’s not surprising, given her favourite record is The Smashing Pumpkins’ Adore, an LP that shares the same name with Shark’s 2018 album.
Shark is still riding a high following the release of her debut album, earlier today scoring two Queensland Music Awards nominations.
Last year, she spent time in the studio with Blink-182’s Mark Hoppus on single Psycho.
Amy Shark will embark on her biggest Australian tour to-date this May, all the details of which you can find in theGuide.
