To help get in the right mood for Newtown Festival, the team behind the event are hosting some unique activities next week.
Ahead of the 39th edition of the festival, taking place on Sunday 12 November, punters in and around Sydney's inner west are being encouraged to get in on the fun with events such as a special outdoor screening of 1985 classic The Goonies and a Story Sessions night, featuring celebrated photojournalist and Humans Of Newtown creator, Jo Wallace.
All funds from both events go directly to the Newtown Neighbourhood Centre who continue to provide frontline programs and service for people doing it tough in the inner west; click here for more details.

This year's bill includes the likes likes of Spit Syndicate, MEZKO, Jep & Dep, I Know Leopard, Jack Colewell, Food Court, Cody Munro Moore and more.
