The latest triple j Like A Version compilation is the favourite to claim #1 on the ARIA Albums chart this week, but the 13th instalment will have to fend off some big local and international names to claim the honours.
According to midweek figures, Jessica Mauboy's soundtrack for The Secret Daughter Season Two (Songs From The Original 7 Series) and Marilyn Manson's Heaven Upside Down are also tipped to debut in the top three this week, while Liam Gallagher's debut solo LP, As You Were, is expected to land in the top five.
The Secret Daughter first season soundtrack peaked at #1 upon its release in October last year, while Manson is chasing his first top-charting Aussie album since 1998's Mechanical Animals.
However, considering last year's Like A Version compilation managed to beat Green Day and Barry Gibb to #1, there's no reason why it couldn't do it all over again.
Meanwhile, Melbourne's own Alex Lahey is primed to crack the top 15 with her debut effort, I Love You Like A Brother, while UK rockers The Darkness should sneak into the top 20 with Pinewood Smile.
Other album debuts this week come from August Burns Red with Phantom Anthem (top 30), as well as new Elvis Presley compilation, Christmas With Elvis & The Royal Philharmonic Orchestra and the new Blade Runner 2049 soundtrack (both top 50).
Over on the Singles chart, Post Malone is expected to hold onto #1 with Rockstar (ft. 21 Savage) for another week, however you should expect to see Camila Cabello's Havana (ft. Young Thug) to climb into the top three and potentially challenge for the crown.
Meanwhile, Post Malone's latest offering, I Fall Apart, is primed for a top 40 debut, as is P!nk's Whatever You Want and Sam Smith's Pray (top 50).
