Country-blues luminaries Cash Savage & The Last Drinks and beloved Brisbane songstress Airling have joined the list of musical performers set to entertain delegates at this year's TEDx event in Sydney.

Also newly announced on the entertainment front is Deaf Australia ambassador Andy Dexterity, a performer renowned for his unique style of movement, fusing dance, physical theatre and sign language in a manner designed to connect with and empower his audiences.

The new musical recruits join previously unveiled performers Sarah Blasko, Gawurra and NGAIIRE aboard the entertainment contingent of the line-up.

New speakers announced today also include acclaimed journalists Peter Greste and Jane Gilmore, engineering academic Professor Elanor Huntington and lawyer, activist, commentator and Daily Life 2016 Woman Of The Year Mariam Veiszadeh.

TEDxSydney will be held at ICC Sydney on Friday 16 June. Registration is open now via the event's website.
