Select Music's 7th Birthday Party!

To celebrate Select Music's 7th Birthday, they've decided to throw a massive party - with a purpose. They're getting together some of their amazing acts including Bluejuice, Ball Park Music, Lior, Bob Evans, Hungry Kids of Hungary, Something With Numbers, The John Steel Singers, Midnight Juggernauts DJs & many more to play on one night across some of Sydney's most exciting venues. The main aim of the night is to raise money for beyondblue; a charity devoted to raising awareness and helping prevent depression. AND YOU'RE INVITED!

With grueling touring schedules, stressful deadlines, social pressures and a job that is surrounded by the influence of drugs & alcohol, depression is an issue that is seen far too often in the music industry.

beyondblue aims to build a society that understands and responds to the personal and social impact of depression, works actively to prevent it, and improves the quality of life for everyone affected. Their message, and their involvement in community events, is something that is very important to us.

Select is very proud to say that their artists are all 100% behind this idea, and feel that this is the perfect opportunity to give something back to the community - which is also why tickets for the night are so cheap! And a huge thanks to the venues who are forfeiting all their venue costs on the night and to everyone and getting behind the event to help make it happen.
